Last night I finally started gluing the tail panel onto the E21. It’s only tacked in place for now, but I checked the tail light fitment and it was pretty good, so things are moving in the right direction...

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

The lower part of the tail panel is missing (can be seen sitting on the roof of the car above) because it’s a US spec tail panel and I’m modifying it to fit better with the Euro spec bumpers I got. I would have bought the Euro spec rear tail panel, but when I bought the car it came with a brand new US spec tail panel from BMW so I just decided to work with what I have...

I bought the Euro spec rear valance side panels, so I’m going to have to blend them into the US spec rear valance, and patch closed the openings where the bumper shocks typically come through...

I’ve got plenty of work ahead of me... it should keep me busy during the annual Canadian ice age.

Something about this tells me you’re in engineering. Probably the jackstands sitting on bricks on a set of dollies. :)

Also, I need a set of those dollies.

You mean it wasn’t the mover’s dolly with a wood frame attached to it that lines up with the frame rails of the car?

Those red dollies are wicked... as long as your floor is clean. Any pebbles or debris on the floor and things get a lot harder lol. The E30 is almost too much for me to move around on my own. Anything heavier and you’d likely need two people to push it around.

The movers dolly looked planned and fairly solid, the jackstands were a bit more haphazard so ibwent with those. :P

I need them for my e30 so that’s alright, I’ll have to sweep the floor though. It’s not bad but there’s always crapp falling off/out of the car :/

Are they the ones from Canadian Tire? I keep waiting for those to go on sale like all Mastercraft stuff tends to do very few weeks but I haven’t caught those discounted yet.
